Your home defended.
While you evacuate.

Dalmatian is the autonomous wildfire suppression system that responds the moment embers land. No firefighters, no municipal water pressure, no homeowner required.

When wildfire risk spikes in your area, the Dalmatian Spot turret automatically begins pre-wetting critical areas. The turret saturates your roof and the surrounding areas to reduce the chance of ember ignition.

The thermal vision system continuously scans your property and neighboring heat sources, looking for hot spots, embers, or flare-ups that are invisible to standard cameras and to the naked eye.

Our central processing unit gathers information from the thermal vision camera and determines where threats are. It uses machine learning to differentiate fires and embers from other hot objects such as cars or dryer vents. All processing is done locally. No internet needed.

When a threat is detected, the system calculates the optimum trajectory for the water turrets, adjusting in real time for wind and flame spread. The turret swivels, elevates, and delivers a high-pressure water jet directly to the hotspot, on your property or even on neighboring properties threatening your home.

With a pressure-boosting pump, onboard 200-gallon reservoir, and battery backup, Dalmatian keeps operating even when municipal water pressure or grid power are unreliable. It draws from your water main, a pool, or an auxiliary tank.

DALMATIAN SYSTEM

Deployed once.
Ready forever.

Dalmatian turrets are installed around your home's perimeter and run silently in standby. When a wildfire event is detected, the system activates fully on its own. No app, no internet, no intervention needed.

01
Ember strike detected

Thermal sensors identify a surface temperature anomaly within 2 seconds.

02
Pump & suppression activated

The self-contained pump pressurizes and the turret rotates to cover the affected zone.

03
Fire neutralized

The structure fire is suppressed before it spreads. Your home survives.

04
System resets

Once the threat is cleared, Dalmatian returns to standby automatically.

90%of structure fires in WUI zones are caused by ember strikes

In 2025, wildfires burned over 16,511 structures in California, causing $76 billion in damage.

California Department of Forestry & Fire Prevention · UCLA Anderson

Over 90% of WUI structure fires could have been prevented with active on-site fire management during the ignition window.

International Association of Wildland Fire

Within 25 minutes, the Palisades Fire grew from 10 acres to over 200 acres, faster than any evacuation or fire department response could match.

CAL FIRE incident reports · Los Angeles County Fire Department

90% of WUI structure fires are ignited by ember cast, not direct flame contact, making early suppression the most effective defense.

National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) · IBHS

Municipal water pressure in the Palisades dropped to zero during the 2025 fire, leaving roof sprinkler systems completely inoperable.

Los Angeles Department of Water & Power · LA Times, January 2025

Roof sprinklers fail precisely when wildfires are worst: high winds break up water droplets into fine mist that is blown away before it reaches the roof surface, negating coverage at the moment of peak fire danger.

IBHS External Sprinkler Systems for Wildfire Defense: White Paper, 2024

California homeowners in high-risk ZIP codes saw insurance premiums rise 30–50% between 2022 and 2025, or lost coverage entirely.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Dalmatian acts in seconds, defending your property from wildfires without any human or remote activation. It does not need to be activated manually or over the web. Local intelligent decisions from thermal vision and machine learning allow Dalmatian to react within seconds of ember detection, even if you have already evacuated.

Every Dalmatian system includes a battery backup and runs all processing locally on the central processing unit. Disruptions to the internet are inconsequential, and the system remains able to detect, decide, and suppress fires even during power outages.

The system includes a pressure-boosting pump and a 200-gallon water reservoir to compensate for fluctuations in municipal supply. It can also draw from secondary sources such as a pool or an auxiliary water tank, so you remain protected even when water pressure is uncertain.

No. The turret is a non-invasive fire suppression system that protects the beauty of your home and roof. It is positioned on the corners of your lot and can be covered by masonry or greenery to complement the property.

The ground-mounted turret rotates 360 degrees, adjusts elevation, and can target fires with a high-pressure water jet up to 70 feet away in low wind, and 50 feet away in winds up to 35 mph. For larger properties, additional turrets can be added and connected together as easily as a lawn irrigation system.

We have already built a working prototype that autonomously scans for hot spots, calculates water trajectories using pressure and thermal data, and targets and extinguishes test fires up to 40 feet away. The productized system builds on this proven foundation.

Bring Autonomous Wildfire Defense
to Your Property

Roof sprinklers are passive. They constantly expel water and depend on municipal water pressure, which collapsed to zero during the 2025 Palisades Fire. Dalmatian actively detects, targets, suppresses, and fights fires on and around your property, even when power or water pressure are uncertain, staying discreetly out of sight the rest of the time.
